Root of Conflict Podcast

Brand Design

Root of Conflict is a student-run Q&A podcast produced by the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts and University of Chicago Public Policy Podcasts (UC3P). I worked with the founding team of writers and producers to develop a logotype and digital templates for album and banner artwork.

The brand identity aligns with, but doesn’t duplicate, the University of Chicago visual identity. The visual pun (the mathematical symbol) suggests the podcast’s academic, evidence-based genre, while the imagery of shattered glass references the topic and subject matter (global conflict at various scales).
