Projects
Discover (some of) my public, collaborative, and professional work. Most of these are academic or academic-ish topically, but my role in these projects doesn’t always involve research or scholarship.
Media & Storytelling
On my own and as part of a team, I have led programming and production for projects that aim to reach both specialist and nonspecialist audiences. Keep reading to learn more.

In addition to visual design, I moderated some of the Talking Politics 2020 events, including “Talking Politics with Jonathan Rosa: Communicating Crisis.”

I designed digital ads and promo graphics for all iterations of the Talking Politics series since 2020. Graphics appeared on desktop and mobile across social media and web applications.

Visual branding for the 2020 Talking Politics series.

Following the live, synchronous events, Talking Politics recordings are made publicly available on YouTube.
Talking Politics
Talking Politics is a public platform for reimagining politics beyond traditional left-right binaries, partisan frameworks, national boundaries, and academic disciplines. It features a wide range of specialists and experts, providing a space where diverse audiences can engage with evidence-based tools and methods for navigating today’s political landscape. I am one of the series’ co-founders and have led communications, visual design, and programming efforts since 2020.

Academic Hiring Rituals Podcast
I co-produced a professionalization and career development podcast for the Association for Political and Legal Anthropology in 2022–23. I worked as an outreach manager, guest coordinator, and project manager, and hosted episodes on Academic Hiring in South Africa and Australia as well as an episode on contingent academic labor.
Print & Digital Design
On my own and as part of a team, I have led visual design and branding projects in digital, print, and hybrid formats. Check out some of the projects below.
